The new episode of Default State is live as part of the ChromaSpyke universe.
Claimed by the VKA, Niko returns to the complex and is sent in search of the last remaining survivor. The corridors are gruesome. The structure itself has been damaged. And, as much as he’d like to pretend otherwise, Niko yearns to reconnect to the subnet—though what that exactly entails in still a bit of a mystery.
This new chapter in Alexander Mharcei’s cyberpunk serial story departs South America and launches us into something new. Those who’ve read A Star in Shadow, may find future chapters familiar.
