About Arkhelian
Arkhelian is an independent creative studio and publisher building original sci-fi, cyberpunk, cosmic horror, and dark fantasy worlds.
We develop deep, lived-in fiction universes with their own histories, conflicts, consequences, and scars. Our work pushes into new territory while staying connected to the genre traditions that shaped us: dystopian futures, haunted worlds, survival against the odds, and characters who keep fighting anyway. Some of our universes are brutal. Some are bleak. But if you’re paying attention, you’ll find hope hidden in the corners. And we’re just getting started.
What We Do
Arkhelian develops in-house fiction universes, publishes books and short stories, runs its own curated bookstore, and maintains a free fiction library for readers discovering new work. We also create community spaces where genre fans, writers, artists, and collaborators can connect around stories and worldbuilding.
Some projects begin inside the studio. Others come from contributors and collaborators. The goal is the same either way: build memorable genre work, help it find the right readers, and give independent creators a stronger place to stand.
What is RAQQA?
noun. /raa-kuh/. A species of white rabbit. A scrappy critter with razor-sharp teeth. Possibly enhanced by cybernetics and corrupted code. Once you meet one, you’ll never look at rabbits the same way. Not to be mistaken for vampire-rabbits, the closely related species that hunts little children in the woods. Latin: Lepus Finalus
Our logo has a lot of meaning to us. The second we explain it, it loses some of its magic. Given the editorial direction of the studio, we think you can figure it out, though.
The Mission
It’s not ‘our mission.’ It’s the only mission. There’s too much creativity falling through the cracks of civilization.
‘Arkhelian.’ Let’s break that down to its meaning. A vessel for the collection of humanity.
It’s not about popularity or fame. Right here. Right now. This is about doing the absolute best we can do in the moment we have. Life’s too short to not try. The best stories we can write, before we move on to the next story. The best world-building. The best collaborations. The best art within the design. The best for our fans. The biggest step forward as we head toward our goals.
We’re learning, but we’re doing this. Perfection doesn’t exist; don’t carry that weight. Stretch those legs and sharpen those teeth. It’s time to do the work and have fun doing it. Put all the effort in.

Writers and Artists
Every day, we’re blown away by the creativity we see.
Understand the continuity. Celebrate the lessons and achievements of those before us. Mourn the loss of the great works that were never seen.
Then push the genre. Color outside the lines. Rules are tools, not absolutes. Break the mold. Invent new words. Be reductive when others reach for more. Be patient and subtle. Be bold, audacious, and defiant.
