The universe begins tearing itself apart in “Astral Twilight: Volume Two.” In the previous volume, smaller stories provided glimpses into the lives of the far-future dystopia. In this volume, new characters emerge and start setting off major events within the universe. Deep space science fiction, cyberpunk, and some space horror — the stakes are going up.
In this book, you’ll traverse through three distinct Polyslate Dystopia stories:
- Chitterfield — The utopia is a lie. There are cracks in the future, no matter how hairline and improbable their risk. One the other side? Curiosity. Freedom. War.
- The Queen’s Silence — A deep-winter psychosis is about to set it. What’s real, what’s not, isn’t as important as taking back the past. Unfortunately, others have their histories as well.
- Leaving on a Metal Horizon — Simply put, cyberpunk in deep space. This story expands the technological achievements of mankind, tangles the future in centuries’ of misbelief, and will make you question what you think you know about the future of humanity.
